To negotiate There is no dialogue between the President of the █████████████, the House Senate and the House Republicans. On top of that, Democrats want to repeal the harmful health care provisions and the big ugly bill. That means reversing their accrued cuts to Medicaid and stopping their attacks on care for children, seniors and people with disabilities. It protects health care. We need to protect health care for ██ million Americans because no one should lose their insurance just because politicians in ██████████ want to score political points. So by repealing those cuts to Medicaid and Medicare, we would stop the wave of hospital and nursing home closures happening across ███████. Every community deserves access to care close to home, not shuttered hospitals or family care centers and empty promises. Fact of the matter is, I visited just yesterday the Joseph Adabo Health Care center that has health care centers in the █████████ and throughout southeastern ██████ and they told me of the danger they have if the Affordable Care act credits were not extended. And the longer that the Republican shutdown goes on, it will hurt their services that they provide. They would have to limit them and or shut their doors because they couldn't afford to keep them open. I likewise we'll be visiting other hospitals to talk to them, so stay tuned. Our plan is to permanently extend the enhanced premium tax credits that help working families afford health care. These tax credits have kept you and millions of others insured and we are making sure that they do not disappear on ███████████. Our approach prevents a massive spike in health care costs for ██ million.
