Nomorobo and AARP Collaborate to Help Protect Americans from Scam Calls and Texts
May 6, 2026Nomorobo Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Audit, Reinforcing Trust and Security
At Nomorobo, trust is not something we take lightly.
Every blocked call, every protected number, and every scam stopped depends on systems that are secure, reliable, and built with care. That’s why we’re proud to share that Telephone Science Corp., the company behind Nomorobo, has completed its latest SOC 2 Type 2 attestation report - for the second year in a row.
This year’s report evaluated all Nomorobo's controls and notably one's related to Security, Availability, and Confidentiality.
What SOC 2 Type 2 Means
SOC 2 is an independent audit framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It evaluates how a service organization manages systems and data based on Trust Services Criteria such as security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy.
A SOC 2 Type 2 report goes beyond a one-time snapshot.
It reviews whether controls were not only designed properly, but also operated effectively over a defined period of time. In Nomorobo’s case, this audit covered a full operating period from April 2025 to April 2026.
Why This Matters for Nomorobo Customers
Nomorobo helps protect consumers, families, and businesses from robocalls, scam calls, and phone-based fraud.
That mission depends on more than blocking technology. It depends on secure systems, responsible data handling, resilient infrastructure, and strong operational controls.
The SOC 2 Type 2 report confirms that Nomorobo’s Platform as a Service System was reviewed against controls related to:
Security - protecting systems and data from unauthorized access
Availability - supporting reliable access and operational resilience
Confidentiality - protecting sensitive information appropriately
The independent auditor’s report states that Nomorobo’s controls were suitably designed and operated effectively throughout the audit period, in all material respects, based on the applicable Trust Services Criteria.

Security Is an Ongoing Commitment
Completing a SOC 2 Type 2 audit is an important milestone.
But it is not the finish line.
Nomorobo continues to invest in security, monitoring, and operational controls as scams evolve and fraudsters become more sophisticated. The SOC 2 report notes that Nomorobo uses compliance automation software to support the design, implementation, operation, monitoring, and documentation of internal controls.
That ongoing commitment matters because scam protection is not static.
Fraudsters adapt. Technology changes. New threats emerge.
Nomorobo’s job is to keep improving.
A Win for Consumers and Businesses
For enterprise customers, SOC 2 Type 2 helps support vendor reviews, procurement processes, and security due diligence.
For consumers, it reinforces something equally important: the service helping protect your phone is backed by serious operational discipline.
Nomorobo has always been focused on stopping unwanted calls and scams before they reach you. This audit reinforces the foundation behind that mission.
“We believe that trust is earned, not assumed. Completing our SOC 2 Type 2 audit reflects how seriously we take our responsibility to protect users and lead the fight against robocall fraud.”
— Nikola Brežnjak, VP of Engineering, Nomorobo
Trust in Every Call
Robocall protection is about more than convenience.
It is about safety, privacy, and peace of mind.
Completing this SOC 2 Type 2 audit reflects Nomorobo’s continued commitment to protecting customers, strengthening trust, and building technology that helps defend the phone channel from fraud.
Because when your phone rings, you should not have to wonder whether the system protecting you is built on trust.
