(217) 281-0289 is a Research Call
- Listen
- Transcript Hi, this is your Congresswoman Nikki Pudzinski at 202-225-2371. I know many are concerned by the executive orders issued by President Trump as well as the actions of the Doge headed by Elon Musk. I am too. I'm hosting a telephone town hall right now to update you on what we know and what's being done about it, as well as hear from you about what areas you're most affected by. You'll be able to ask a question by pressing Star three at any time during the call. Just stay on the line. The call will begin momentarily. Please hold while we connect you to your Access Live event. This Access Live event is currently in progress. Please note that this call may be monitored, recorded or rebroadcast. As I mentioned, continues to also stay focused on affordability. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table for their family and getting the prescription they need, but that is a reality for countless people in central and Southern Illinois and across the country. Last week I just introduced the blocking act and this will discourage pharmaceutical companies from delaying access to generic drug options. This will allow more generics to enter the market and lower prices for people. I'm also continuing my efforts to go after predatory pharmacy benefit managers. I believe for too long greedy PB have taken advantage of hard working men and women jacking up prices on life saving medications to line their own pockets. These are just a few of the projects I'm working on while staying focused as well on these actions that we discussed in the beginning of this call with the administration and many of you have reached out. I know about what has been happening over the course of these last several weeks and we know that a lot of the focus has now also been not just on what we can do legislatively, but from a legal perspective, some of the legal challenges that have been taking place against this administration as well. And I want to say that 55 pending lawsuits against this administration's executive orders and administrative actions have already been filed by seven states and I hope, as you know, that includes our State of Illinois. These lawsuits cover the federal funding freeze, lawsuits that cover the pause on research funding we discussed tonight, and lawsuits that address the access to the treasury systems and many more issues. While many of these are temporary, I will say it does give me hope that our system will stand up against these egregious power grabs with Congress.

Just last week, 8,251 people got Nomorobo protection!

I have it. I LOVE it. I tell EVERYBODY about it.

Thanks for the service!

Amazing. It has cut the robocalls we get by at least 90%. What a pleasure not to race to get the phone and find garbage on the other end. Some still get through, but I report them faithfully. I have recommended Nomorobo to numerous friends. Keep up the good work!

I an on the do not call list, but it hasn't stopped the robos. Why don't you turn these people in to the do not call list and reap the fines for yourself??? If you need my permission, you have it.

Great Service! Thanks! Out of six calls on my phone last Wednesday four were blocked by you folks. I checked them out on Google and they were all scammers.

I am so, so grateful to Nomorobo. You have restored peace and tranquility to my household. My wife and I have different phone lines, and she works from home. My phone used to ring all day long with unwanted calls and it was annoying to her. When I came home in the evening our dinners would invariably be interrupted by unwanted calls. Now I hear a short burst of a ring, and I smile and think, another frustrated spam call. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Where can I donate to your costs?

The 2014 mid term elections were a pleasure this year. Nomorobo gave me the freedom to exercise my right to vote without a single call from the robo election unending calls. Yes, that's right. I did not receive a single call. This is the best product on the market. I only wish I could have it on my cell phone too. Thank you for making my life soooo much better.
