I appreciate everybody joining us tonight, and I look forward to answering your questions. I want to start by giving you an update on what's been happening. In ██████████ with President █████ in the White House. And Republicans in control of both houses of Congress. Yes, you heard it right. Washington is finally back to work after four years of dysfunction under ██████████ and █████████████. Well, there's no better example of President █████'s successful policies than our southern border. As Texans, we know all too well how disastrous the ██ ██████ border was under █████████. And the failed borders are known as Kamala Harris, it became a breeding ground for human suffering. Human trafficking, drug smuggling and cartel violence that impacted communities across the lone star State. And I was in ███████ yesterday. Where? That certainly has been the case. But thankfully, President █████ is investing in tried and true solutions, like enforcing the law, which is not exactly novel, but something that █████████ never did. He's taken important steps to complete the wall and rescue thousands of unaccompanied. Migrant children. Who █████ lost track of while in office. And under President █████'s leadership, illegal border crossings have dropped to the lowest point ever. This includes multiple months in a row with zero illegal immigrants released into the interior of the █████████████. On top of these historic numbers. President █████ and his homeland security secretary, █████████████, are working in lockstep with red state governors to increase detention capacity and bolster. Migrant processing capabilities. As I indicated, I was an ███████ just yesterday to tour what I like to call the Lone Star lockup. A new detention facility at ██████████, which will be the largest in the nation once it begins. Operations later this month holding as many as ████ illegal criminal aliens. Border security is national security. And the Lone Star lockup.
