Watch the Campaign in Action
Before we talk awards, take 60 seconds to see what made “Behind the Scams” stand out.
Nomorobo’s Fraud Fighters videos are designed to do more than warn people that scams exist. They show how scams sound, what red flags to watch for, and how everyday people can avoid getting pulled into fraudster’s script.
This video is part of Nomorobo’s award-winning “Behind the Scams” campaign, a series of short anti-fraud PSAs created to help consumers recognize common phone and text scam tactics before it is too late.
Because when you can spot the scam, you are already one step ahead.
Nomorobo’s “Behind the Scams” Campaign Wins a 2026 Telly Award
Scam calls are not just annoying. They are carefully scripted, emotionally manipulative, and designed to make people act before they think.
That is exactly why Nomorobo created “Behind the Scams,” a public service campaign that pulls back the curtain on how phone fraud really works.
Now, that work has been recognized on a national stage. Nomorobo’s “Behind the Scams” campaign has won a 2026 Bronze Telly Award in the Campaign - Social Impact category. The Telly Awards listing recognizes Behind the Scams as a 2026 Bronze Winner, with nomorobo.com named as the entrant. Learn more here.

What Is the Telly Award?
The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens. The 47th Annual Telly Awards received nearly 14,000 entries from creators, brands, and production companies across 55 countries, making this season the largest in the award’s history.
The Campaign - Social Impact category, recognizes branded content campaigns or series created to inform or influence viewers about social issues.
For Nomorobo, that social issue is clear: helping people recognize, avoid, and report phone-based fraud before scammers can do real damage.
Why “Behind the Scams” Matters
Scammers do not rely on magic. They rely on pressure.
A fake bank call. A government impersonator. A “limited-time” tax relief offer. A suspicious text that looks just real enough to click.
The goal is almost always the same: create fear, urgency, or confusion so the victim reacts quickly.
The “Behind the Scams” PSA campaign was built to slow that moment down. Each short video helps viewers understand the tricks behind common fraud attempts, including:
- Impersonation scams
- Fake government or financial relief calls
- Urgent “press now” robocalls
- Fraudulent texts and suspicious links
- Emotional pressure tactics used against older adults and families
Think of it as scam self-defense training, without the whistle and gym shorts.
From Real Scam Tactics to Real Consumer Education
Nomorobo’s Fraud Fighters page gives consumers a place to hear and learn from real-world scam examples, including how fraudsters use fear, confusion, and manipulative language to pressure people into acting.
That is the heart of the campaign: show people what fraud sounds like before it reaches them or someone they love.
Because when you recognize the script, you are much harder to fool.
