Hello, everyone, and good evening. Welcome to the SEIU Local ████ monthly Teletown hall for the month of November. My name is ████████████ and I am the proud statewide field director here at SEIU Local ████. We started holding these monthly calls to keep Local ████ members connected to each other and their union during the pandemic and to make sure everyone has up to date information. This includes learning about our vision for a future of care, which came out of our ████ SCIU ████ convention. If this happens to be your first time joining us, welcome. We are so glad you can join us. We're going to get started in just a minute. We're currently dialing out to over ███████████ caregivers across the great state of ██████████ in all of our core languages. This includes Spanish, English, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Armenian and Russian. It takes us a few minutes to get connected and it seems that we have connected with most folks already. Good evening, SEIU ████ family. My name is ███████████████ and I am a proud SEIU local ████ regional vice president and member of ██████ county in Region three. Thank you for taking the time to join our call. We have members from all industries on the call today, skilled nursing facilities, private agencies and IHSS home care. We look forward to sharing with you all tonight. We started doing this television town hall as a way to connect to our union and stay informed during the pandemic. And now it become an essence way for us to unite in the work and continue to work together to achieve our goals. Our SEIU ████ convention last year adopted resolution that emphasize communication with each other, building cross racial and cross culture solidarity and building power together.
