Hi, this is █████ calling from your Union SEIU ████. I want to welcome you to the call with our president, ██████████████████. To be collected to the call. Please state on the line. If you have questions after the call please feel free to call the number. Action center. At ████ member action center at 1 ██████████. You are joining a live conference already in progress. Please be aware that your local phone company may leave your line open for up to ██ seconds after you leave the conference. Here at local ████. These teletown halls started during the pandemic to help make sure that our members were connected to each other and to their union during those difficult moments. But they're also a great way to make sure that everybody has up-to-date information. If this is your first time making it to our teletown hall, welcome. We're so glad you can join us and we hope that you enjoy this teletown hall. We're going to get started in just a few minutes here. We're dialing out to over half a million caregivers across the great state of ██████████ in all of our core languages. That includes those languages include Spanish, English, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Armenian and Russian. It does take a few minutes as you can imagine to get connected to all those caregivers. So we'll be starting momentarily. Alrighty folks, I was just informed that folks are connected and that we are ready to begin. I'm excited and honored to introduce our host for this evening, the amazing, the talented ███████████████ from ██████████████ in ████████. Thank you to all the wonderful team of interpreters who will provide interpretation to all the members in the language of their choice through the call and all the staff that work really hard to put this together. Now I'm going to pass it over to ██████ to kick us off. Good afternoon SCIU ████ family. My name is █████████████████ and I'm a proud SCIU Local ████ Regional Vice President and member from ██████ County in Region 6. Thank you for taking the time to join our call. We have members from all industries on the call today. Skilled nursing facilities, private agencies and IHSS home care. We look forward to sharing with you all tonight. We started doing these teletown halls as a way to connect to our union and stay informed during the pandemic. And now it's become an essential way for us to unite in the work and continue to work together to achieve our goals. Our SBIU ████ convention. That emphasize communicating with each other. Building cross racial and cross-cultural solidarity and building power together. These teletown halls are an important part of that as we learn how caregivers across the state are working to achieve our vision. For a future of care that includes building a strong union, improving care jobs, and advancing justice in our communities. I want to thank all of our member leaders who have been attending these calls since we started. Since we started them to ensure that our members have all the information they need as we continue to push forward. We understand that under normal circumstances we're all extremely busy. So thank you for taking the time to stay informed and connected with your union family. Just a reminder that we practice language justice at local ████. That's why this call is being simultaneously shared in Spanish, English, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Armenian and Russian. Again, I want to thank you all for joining us. I'm now going to turn the call over to our president.
