Thank you, ███. And good evening, everyone. Thank you for joining me tonight. For this important telephone town hall. I wish we were gathering under better circumstances. Our nation is mourning the loss of six brave American service members who have died in the escalating conflict with Iran. We honor their sacrifice. We pray for their families, and we are standing with every military family carrying the weight of uncertainty right now. I want to start off by saying only Congress has the constitutional authority to send our troops to war. Yet the █████ administration has entered into a war of choice without clear objectives, without transparency. And without a vote of the people's representative. Americans do not want another endless war. They do not want more flag drape coffins coming home without a clear mission or strategy. And they certainly do not want decisions this grave made recklessly or without accountability. That is why I support immediate action under the War Power Resolution. Congress must fulfill its constitutional duty. While this administration escalates conflict abroad, we are also fighting critical battles right here at home for the rule of law, for due process, and for the right to vote. On immigration.
