But his and Elon Musk's reckless actions have caused a lot of chaos, confusion and fear in our communities. We've seen mass firings of personnel on the federal level, the termination of federal contracts, the unlawful elimination of federal agencies, unlawful mass deportations, frozen funding for our programs and services that provide critical support to the great people of New York and our nation. Tonight, we're here to give you an update and tell you how we're fighting back. Democrats, House Democrats plan to educate, litigate, legislate and communicate. So what does that mean? We're educating the public on the unconstitutional actions this administration wants to impose. And we're filing lawsuits against illegal actions, the infringement of your rights in the courts. We are proposing legislation to stop the president from abusing his power. And we're keeping you informed because we need you. We need you. We can't do this alone. This fight belongs to all of us. As you can see, a lot is happening. And that's why I want to address the issues tonight with professionals representing various agencies and organizations who will assist me in answering your inquiries and addressing your concerns.
