It was one of the most emotional experiences of this campaign, meeting with many of the people in that community who were badly shaken and affected that very morning. I was there. That should never happen again. Three armed security guards in every school across this country gets that job done. But to do that, we have to shut down the Department of Education, use that money to send that back to the states and to the people so we can do the right thing, rather than feeding some bureaucracy at the top. But I'm the only candidate who can tell you these things. Against the co2 pipeline, against special protections for vaccine manufacturers, in favor of pardoning every peaceful protester. On January 6, on my first day in office, against bureaucracy and corruption in the republican party, Ronald McDaniel resigning, shutting down agencies like the FBI, to the ATF, to countless others. And the reason I'm the only candidate who's able to say these things to you is that our politics has become corrupt. Every politician anymore is dancing to the tune of their biggest donor. And in my case, that biggest donor is me. I don't report to the mega donor class. I report to you, the citizens of this country. Every politician is dancing to the tune of their biggest donor. In my case, my biggest donor is me, actually. And so that's what allows me to be independent. I'm not a circus monkey. I'm not a pawn on a chessboard. Frankly, I would rather speak the truth and lose this election than to win by playing some fake game of political snakes and ladders. But if we're going to fix this system, that's what it's going to take. Somebody who's actually willing to take the risk needed, willing to be able to say no to that mega donor money, willing to be able to say, you know what? Even if this cost me the election, I'm still going to say it, because it is true. Not because the polls told me to, but because it is my actual conviction, being here in Iowa, me, that you all have pushed us over the last year to really be the best version of ourselves, and I thank you for that.
