That journey gave me a deep appreciation for the challenges immigrants face, especially when it comes to navigating the legal system, dealing with federal agencies and making sure your rights are protected. And let me be clear, I am outraged by what's happening right now. Across our country. Families are being torn apart. Children are being detained. ICE agents are showing up at schools, at churches and workplaces. They are now murdering innocent people. █████. ████████████, █████, a young mother of █████, and ███████████, and ICU nurse that helped our heroic veterans were murdered in the streets by ice. They pose no threat to ice, but were gunned down by these thugs. It's why I have been hard at work to hold ICE accountable for their horrific actions against the American people. Last year, I introduced the Ending Qualified Immunity for ICE Agents act to ensure ICE agents are held accountable when they break the law. And ICE's recent actions have shown that the agency is beyond reform. And that's why I introduced last week a bill in ████ congress that to abolish ICE. Because when an agency structure consistently produces harm instead of justice, there is no way to reform it. We must fundamentally change the way we approach immigration. Everyone deserves to live in a country where they feel safe and respected. And I'm here to tell you my office is on your side, whether it's sharing knowledge and know your rights, helping you connect with legal services, or fighting back against hateful policies in Congress.
