Please note that this call may be monitored, recorded or rebroadcast. Hi, this is █████ with Senator ███████████. We invite you to join our interactive Access Live event taking place right now. And then a few years ago we began to reduce our corporate net income tax, trying to reduce that business burden so we can attract industry into ████████████. And it's starting to happen. But what it's causing is a lower revenue for Pennsylvania while we're attracting these new businesses. It's going to take a few years for us to be able to increase our revenue. What I call a rising tide raises all boats. So as we are getting more revenue in the state, things will start to get better and better. More people employed, more people into southwestern ████████████. That's the whole goal. We're starting to see that starting to climb now, but it's going to take some time. But I'm glad you got a chance to bring that point out. And again, always connect with your electeds to share your opinion so we can stop these types of things from happening or at least narrow the gap some. Thank you so much for that. Next we have on the line ██████ from Somerset. ██████, what is your question? Yeah, my question is with saving money with education, why don't we consider having county run schools instead of school districts that are graduating ██ or ██ kids? The cost is ridiculous for what we're turning out. Thank you for your comment, ██████. And I'm hearing more and more about this and we're talking about it in ██████████. I've talked with a good colleague of mine, mine, Senator ████████████. She's the chair of the Education Committee here. And this is to be had. How can we consolidate our districts or consolidate services, which is probably the best way to do things without killing off any mascots. We brought this up just today on the Senate floor as we were talking about differences in spending numbers. We have declining students population. It's a fact. The numbers will show you that. So how do we right size our education systems to maximize the revenue that we have without stressing our taxpayers anymore? So the discussions are ongoing now and some of it is part of the budget. So we'll see how this all comes together in the next I would hope in the next few days. I always said that my thoughts on budget impasse would end at the end of October. So we're getting really close to my prediction. So we shall see. But thank you for that question, ██████. And it is something that is being talked about a lot. I want to remind everyone, if you have a question you would like to ask me, press Star three on your phone and you'll be connected. Next we have █████ from Brownsville. █████, what is your question? Yes, Senator, I just thank you, first of all, for your service. I appreciate what you do for us. Thank you. I just had some comments about the public transportation systems in ██████████ and ████████████, how they eat huge, huge amounts of the budget in ████████████ and they never seem to have enough money to keep them on track. They're constantly cutting routes and so on, but yet the prices are are going up. The tax dollars we're spending are millions and millions of dollars. And I just wonder, isn't there anything that anyone could do to right some of these problems that they're having and maybe try to reduce some of the costs that they're having so that the tax money wouldn't have to go so much to those places and it could be spent in the more rural areas out here where we are that we just kind of get forgotten about? You know, you're from a little rural area. You know what it's like. And I think you know what I mean. But thank you for your question, █████. And this is something that we talk about quite a bit, and this was a sticking point at the early.
