Even the Department of Homeland Security's own internal review released Tuesday directly contradicts their statements. I want to take a moment to honor the lives of ███████████, a ███████████ poet and mother of █████. And ███████████ ICU nurse who served veterans at his local va. Both were senselessly killed by federal agents in ███████████ simply for exercising their right to free speech. And for trying to protect others. The brutality and devastating attacks coming out of this administration's DHS must come to an immediate end. It must end now. The divisive anti immigrant rhetoric must come to an end. And make no mistake, the chaos █████ is causing on our streets is intentional. It is by design. This violence and terror is not what America stands for. It is not the ███████ we want to leave. For our children. I refuse to accept an authoritarian ███████. Where people are executed in the street. In broad daylight by our government. And ███████, where people live in fear, were speaking out. An america where mas agents separate families. Detain children and cause chaos in our communities. We need an approach that attacks this problem from every angle. I am an early co sponsor of articles of impeachment against Secretary Nome, as well as to prohibit federal agents from hiding behind masks and to treat these federal agents just like most of their officers. By ensuring they can be prosecuted and held accountable when they break the law. I voted against that was a hard no against DHS funding last week and will continue to refuse to give them a dime while it terrorizes our communities. Ice is straight up ignoring court orders, at least ██ of them to date. They have lost all credibility. This is a lawless administration.
