And I'm focused on taking on some of the biggest challenges facing Californians. There are many of the same ones facing the nation. We're tackling hate and xenophobia and anti Semitism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, racism. We're pushing back against right wing ideologues who are determined to roll back our rights and our freedoms. They can have big corporations that the profits over people like Meta and Amazon and Kroger and Albertsons. Big oil, petrochemical companies deceiving the public about plastics. We're pushing for gun safety, taking on the gun industry. Fighting for a criminal justice system that still needs to be more fair, more humane, more effective as it continues to keep us safe. Faculty in the climate crisis housing. Trying to build more housing in more places, the more Californians can realize the dream of homeownership. And these challenges are immense. They occupy our focus during normal times, and we continue to focus on them during these very abnormal times. And I'll get into a little bit about what we're doing on the █████ front. But as ag, I've created a number of different tools and entities within our department to help advance these issues. Like our Racial Justice Bureau, the Office of Community Awareness, Response and Engagement to be sensitive to and in touch with our diverse communities to make sure that we're co creating solutions together and hearing about problems. I also created the Office of Gun Violence Prevention in ██████████. Our Housing Justice Team to promote the building of more housing and more places, I created a Post Conviction Justice Unit. And California Reentry Roundtable to put more inject our criminal justice system with more fairness. And I extended our Environmental Justice Bureau as well. So those are some of the things that we worked on and continue to work on. We're also very focused on pushing back against the unlawfulness of █████. And one of my top priorities has been federal accountability, making sure that the █████ administration does only lawful things. And the █████ administration. █████ has a lot of official authority. He did win the election. He advanced his agenda lawfully, but he may never advance it unlawfully. So we meet him. At the boundary of his authority. And we say you cannot cross this line. We hold the line.
