To begin, we would like to hear from you. We're going to begin with a poll question. The question is, we want to hear from you. How familiar are you with the Georgia Public Service Commission? Press 1 if this is the first time you've heard about the Georgia Public Service Commission. Press 2 if you're a little familiar with it, if you're a little familiar with the PSE and the role. And press three if you're very familiar with the Georgia Public Service Commission. Give you just a little bit longer. So one is if you if this is the first time you've heard of Georgia Public Service Commission you have not heard of them before, press 2 if you're somewhat familiar with them in their role, a little familiar. And then three if you know a lot about them. If you're very familiar, give you all another minute or so. So one, Press one if you have never heard of them. The Georgia Public Service Commission. This is your first time. Press 2 if you're a little familiar and 3 if you're very familiar. All right, fantastic. Looks like most of our attendees are hearing about Georgia Public Service Commission for the first time and or are just somewhat or a little bit familiar with them. So this is the perfect place for you this evening because we are going to explore the Georgia Public Service Commission in depth. Again. If you have a question, just press 0 and you'll be put in line to ask your question and we'll try to answer as many questions as we can at the end. So let's dive into the discussion by first introducing our speakers. With us today we have ███████████. He's the organizing director at Georgia Interfaith Power and Light, and █████████████, the interim voter engagement manager at Georgia Muslim Voter Project. Welcome to both of them and we're very excited to have them as part of this conversation as a reminder, just a reminder. It's a nonpartisan event so we're here to share information about the role of the PSC and how it affects your communities. With that said, I think one of the most important places to begin is with that the role of the psc. I'm going to read a very succinct definition and description of the PSE and then I would love to hear from our panelists kind of as to expand on that or how they would define the psc. So Georgia's Public Service Commission is a five member board that regulates the rates charged and the services provided by most investor owned utilities operating the state including telecommunications, natural gas and electric utilities. So that's a very succinct description and I'm going to turn it over to our panelists to describe it and define it a bit more. ██████ perhaps I'll begin with you. Yeah thanks for that ████ and ███.
