Just last week, 8,277 people got Nomorobo protection!
I work nights and would often be woken during the day by continuous calls from Telemarketers. Some would call 4-6 times one after the other. Often 12-15 unanswered calls a day. They were relentless. Since the day I activated Nomorobo my house has been at peace. Now when the phone rings, I actually answer it.
— Tina, Nov 29th, 9:18amGreat service, and I'm enjoying a good chunk of those 70,000 calls you block every day. The only improvement I can recommend is some way to mute the single ring that you're unable to stop. Guests sometimes ask why our phone rings only once, which does give us the opportunity to explain your service. Keep up the good work.
— Dave P, Nov 29th, 9:28amFirst off, I just want to say Thank You! While not perfect, Nomorobo is still by far the best thing I have found to help deal with the endless BS calls from the wide assortment of scumbags and scammers who chose to torment us with their useless and unwanted calls at all hours of the day and night. Yes, some calls get through, until those numbers end up getting caught by Nomorobo, but this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind and lack of aggravation that is gained by the majority of calls being intercepted. As an individual with mobility issues, I can't express how much better it is with Nomorobo, to not have to jump up every time the phone rings, thinking it may be a call from family or friends, only to find out it was some d*ckhead from 1000 miles away, trying to con me into buying an extended automobile warranty or some other crap-tastic scam. I can now calmly wait to see if the call gets rejected after the first ring, before having to struggle to reach the phone, knowing that in most instances that call will be a legitimate call. The Nomorobo service has been extremely effective for us, and I tell others about it all the time. I hope that this service remains free of charge, as I feel that it is an added insult to have to pay for a service to keep from being harassed, scammed, and otherwise being victimized by the low life's of the world who chose the telephone as their weapon of choice to assault their victims. To be charged for the Nomorobo service, well, I liken that to having to pay for the police to show up at your house when a similar attempt at scamming you has been made in person. Please, continue to keep this service free for the benefit of all, I'm sure there is a way for you to monetize Nomorobo, without placing that burden on it's users. Again, thank you for the Nomorobo service, I can't express how much it has helped to keep the tele-scum at bay in our household!
— John, Nov 29th, 10:04amI absolutely love it!!!! Being a senior, it's no fun to have to be getting up from your cozy chair or bed to answer the phone unless it's necessary. When you do answer and get silence before some salesman or money raiser picks up, it is extremely annoying. I really do thank you all at NoMoRoBo, and I have been telling everyone I know about it.
— Jeanne, Nov 29th, 10:20amIt is great. It really reduces the number of annoying robot calls. I have recommended it to family and friends.
— Dennis, Nov 29th, 10:23amFantastic - in our area we get the telemarketing calls every winter season - Nomorobo stops them cold.
— Thomas P, Nov 29th, 11:15amLove it! Love it! LOVE IT!!! I have recommended it to all my friends. My only "complaint" is that some of them have odd phone companies that don't support Nomorobo. On cell phones? Great! Can't wait; some family and friends have only cell.
— Anne L, Nov 29th, 12:02pmIt has a been a "peace-saving" tool around the house. Can we expect, in the future, not to have the phone ring at all, or the phone number on our TV screen show. That would make things even better. Those robo callers are like the enemy, they keep trying "trick" us into getting up and answering their calls. We must stay one step ahead of them.
