Just last week, 8,278 people got Nomorobo protection!
It's an ok service although it hasn't been as effective as advertised. It is only blocking 50% of the calls to my landline. I guess that's an improvement but not what I expected. Some of the numbers that get through are listed as "private" - that is, no caller id information is given. These calls should be blocked too. If there's no caller id info the call should be blocked.
— Saul J, Nov 29th, 10:01amI think it has helped, but quite a few numbers (including Gallup) get through with a single ring, which is less annoying than talking to them, but very annoying, nonetheless because these callers tend to call every day. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I use Vonage SimulRing to call my home and cell at the same time, but I'm not sure. I've learned that reporting a problem has no effect (but, heck, you're offering a free service, so ...), which I why I didn't bother.Of course, the 2014 political campaign season was still unbearable, and I don't look forward to 2016, but I think your service is a great help, and I appreciate it.
— Carol S, Nov 29th, 10:05amBest thing since sliced bread or E-Z Pass. I used to be afraid to answer the phones because of telemarketers, etc......now I can answer the phone peacefully. Thanks so much Nomorobo!!!
— Norman G, Nov 29th, 10:17amI love it! I keep telling people about your site and am sure I have influenced several people into joining up. Thank you for giving me back my peaceful home.
— Grace B, Nov 29th, 10:22amIt's Great !I saw it on a news report from a consumer reporter, I caught just the end of the report. The reporter said there was a new thing out called "Nomorobo", that worked better than the "do not call list".I googled "Nomorobo" it's been "Blissful Silence" ever since.
— Patrick A, Nov 29th, 10:57amI was never able to install Nomorobo with my Comcast provider. I communicated with both your tech support, and Comcast's, but no one could give me a solution.
— Denney, Nov 29th, 11:27amIt is great to be able to skip answering all of those robocalls. And having the calls we want forwarded to our cell phone is even better. Thanks, Nomorobo.
— Gary B, Nov 29th, 11:40amThe best blocking service available. Hope our cell phone carrier will get with the program. Thanks for your service.
