- Transcript Hi, this is Charisse Davids, your representative in Congress. Stay on the line to take my survey on how Congress can build an economy that works for everyone. Ive heard from many Kansans who are struggling with higher prices on groceries, gas, healthcare and more. Thats why ive made lowering costs for Kansans a top priority. For example, I heard from Julie, who lives in Overland park. She has diabetes and depends on insulin to stay healthy. But Julie was faced with having to pay thousands of dollars a year for her medicine. No one should have to choose between paying for their mortgage or a life saving prescription. For Julie and many like her, I helped pass a law to cap insulin prices at dollar 35 a month. This was an important step in the right direction, but I know there's more to be done to reduce costs across the board. I absolutely love it!!!! Being a senior, it's no fun to have to be getting up from your cozy chair or bed to answer the phone unless it's necessary. When you do answer and get silence before some salesman or money raiser picks up, it is extremely annoying. I really do thank you all at NoMoRoBo, and I have been telling everyone I know about it.
