Just last week, 8,251 people got Nomorobo protection!
Great! I recommend to all. Unfortunately it doesn't work with att or verizon. I suspect they will never allow it. You need a "work around" solution.
— Mwfenn, Nov 29th, 9:29amDoesn't seem to do a thing. Still get robocalls.
— Allen S, Nov 29th, 9:43amThis is a service of the telephone company, right? They provide the phone service and they are the ones to ensure they are used properly, right? No?The telephone company doesn't care if their service is used by scammers and annoying callers? They provide a Caller ID so we can decide if we want to accept the call? But only if we go to the phone and examine the caller and number? We still gotta go to the phone, right? Why can't somebody just intersept those calls and stop the ringing?Somebody did?! And it wasn't the phone company? An independent service? And it's free?THANKS! Nomorobo! You enhanced our quality of life and for bringing peace to so many >>> you should receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
— Michael, Nov 29th, 10:51amDon't know how I lived without it.
— Jeanne, Nov 29th, 11:11amWe love it!!!Whenever the phone rings once & then stops - I just say to myself "NOMOROBO" and smile!!!
— Vern T, Nov 29th, 11:22amNomorobo is great! I never realized how many of these robocalls I got until I was home all day for a couple of days, Within those two days I received 6 calls. Four of those calls were in one day. It was then that I decided to get Nomorobo. The system picks up the call and your phone only rings once. The call is then cut off. It's a great technology. If you are annoyed by robocalls this free service is the way to go.
— Allan L, Nov 29th, 11:30amTerrific idea and very good execution. Slight improvements may be desirable, like increasing the speed of detection of calls to block. This may prevent the telephone ringing once before the call is blocked. Anyhow I am grateful for this service.
— Dr. T, Nov 29th, 1:34pmI love the concept but it does not work 100% - one initially the program was designed to block the calls from even ringing. Now when I get the calls - my phone rings one time. That one time is annoying and I never know when the phone rings is it a blocked call or a real call starting to come in. I have to pause to see which one. I still get the scammers come in, since they have also outsmarted the system by changing their numbers to local or hijacked phone numbers and ids. Overall I am glad to have such a system but it needs work.
