They are all being short shrifted the resources because we're actually spending a trillion dollars just to pay the interest on the debt and it's crowding out our ability to fund the priorities of this great nation of ours. Okay, first question. No first question. Okay, our first question is going to be from Cindy. Her question is actually through our live website link while everyone else presses Star3 to ask their question. Again, you can press Star3 at any time throughout the entire call to ask a question. But our first question comes from Cindy and her question is how can Congress justify cutting Medicaid when doing so will hurt children and cause rural hospitals and nursing homes to close? So the question about Medicaid, I'm sure there are a number of people who have heard the false rhetoric that Republicans are cutting Medicaid beneficiaries or the benefits of the vulnerable Americans who depend on this healthcare safety net. Let me just give you one little background for context. This program used to be for the most vulnerable Americans and it was a program that was focused on people who couldn't help themselves because they were so poor or so sick. It was blind, disabled, elderly, and it truly was the most vulnerable of Americans. But it has like a lot of programs had mission creep and it's extreme.
