Uncompensated care costs that are on $556,000,000 and. There's a lot going on in the Senate about changing that bill. I haven't. Seen any changes, though that would change my mind about it, but I want to hear from you. And hear your comments as well about that. The other thing going on is. We obviously found out the president made a decision. To drop bombs on iranian nuclear sites. He did so without consulting Congress. We were supposed to get a classified briefing a couple of days ago, and that didn't happen. And it looks like there's some conflicting reports from the administration as to the success of those strikes, but we've got a bigger concern about the. Authority to carry out those strikes. And I think the american people deserve some oversight or say in this process. But in any case that's going on right now, we want to hear from you your comments, your questions and your thoughts. Really? And finally, we want to talk about. Anything else you want to talk about? Whether it's doge or whether it's. If you're a federal worker, we want to hear your story. We've been doing a lot right now. Introduced a lot of bills, co sponsored a lot of others. The ranking member on the military and foreign affairs committee, most on the science and tech committee, and I can talk a lot, but we want to hear more about what you want to talk about, so thank you again. While we wait to hear from you, I wanted to also talk about a couple of other things. Going on. I heard from a group today that the state Department plans on laying off a lot. Of people as well. If you're one of those folks who are concerned about your job. There, let us know. We're obviously concerned about the other cuts happening. One. Of the things I found that's been really effective, though, is when you share your stories. And we get some of those stories out. In the media or in other ways on the house floor. I speak every day. That actually makes a huge difference. We found out the administration backtracks. So one example was we were having concerns about.

It's a problem that gets worse every year...but a new website promises to change all that.
