How are you today? My name is Sam. I am reaching out to ensure you're aware of the new tax debt alleviation program available during open enrollment. This program aims to alleviate back tax debts by classifying them as non collectible, meaning you won't need to pay them back. It's part of the new Federal Economic Recovery Program. So before you take any steps to settle any tax debt, it's important to review some information first. So would it be okay to deliver this information to you? Okay, great. So this special program has been recently Approved as of August 2022. The purpose of the tax dismissal program is to help those struggling with tax debt. However, there's certain requirements. To be eligible, you can not currently be in any other tax debt consolidation or settlement program. You cannot currently be in bankruptcy, and you must have a household income of under $250,000 a year. But you do have to have a monthly income of at least $2,000 a month. Until we signed up for Nomorobo we were plagued with solicitation calls. Although they still call we no longer have to look at caller ID to determine whether we needed to ignore or answer.

I love the concept but it does not work 100% - one initially the program was designed to block the calls from even ringing. Now when I get the calls - my phone rings one time. That one time is annoying and I never know when the phone rings is it a blocked call or a real call starting to come in. I have to pause to see which one. I still get the scammers come in, since they have also outsmarted the system by changing their numbers to local or hijacked phone numbers and ids. Overall I am glad to have such a system but it needs work.
