  • Transcript Hey, there. This is Senator Marsha Blackburn calling from 202-24-3344 please stay on the line to speak with me live on a free telephone town hall. We're going to talk about the crisis at the southern border, rising inflation, and the threats we face from America's adversaries. Again, this is Senator Marsha Blackburn. Please stay on the line to listen in on this free call. Please hold while we connect you to your access live event. This access live event is currently in progress. Please note that this call may be monitored, recorded, or rebroadcast of our jewish friends and make certain they have what they need in order to protect themselves. Also, we've heard a lot from you all about the border. Many of you may have seen. I was down at Eagle Pass a couple of weeks ago, and I got to see firsthand how Governor Abbott and the Texas Department of Public Safety has stepped up to secure their border. They are actually putting buoys in the river, containers on the embankment. They're putting razor wire behind that, and then fencing. And they have been able to reduce the thousands of people that were coming in at Eagle Pass, and now it is just about a dozen a day. And they wanted me to see this because I have legislation, the Container act, that would empower border states to place temporary barriers on federal land in order to protect their communities. I also have legislation, the Clear act, which would allow local law enforcement to, after they arrest someone who's in the country illegally, they can detain that person and require ice to come and deport that individual. We are trying to get this legislation passed to empower our local communities. We all have seen the impact that has happened in our state with fentanyl and human trafficking, sex trafficking, gangs.

Just last week, 8,280 people got Nomorobo protection!

It's great we have very few calls than get by the system.

My wife and I are finally getting control of our phone back. We love the peace and quiet that NOMOROBO has achieved for us. Thank You a hundred times.

It has ended more than half of my robo calls. Hope you are working on the other half.

It"s helped me regain my peace of mind (and sanity) knowing something can be done at long last to stop these predators. I' m forever gratrful.

Couldn't be happier! It really works.

Don't know how I lived without it.

As an international business person who gets calls around the clock Nomorobo has been fantastic. Being able to report and add a number to be blocked is a great feature.

We use Comcast for phone, TV, internet & Verizon for cell service (no smart phone.) Can't get NOMOROBO! Grrr!

The number of frustrating robocalls is exploding, but there are more options than ever to fight back
