Good evening and thank you so much for joining us tonight. My name is Donna Greco, the Pennsylvania government relations director with the american cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Also known as ACS can. ACS can is the advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society. Working across the nation to advance proven policies to help fight cance. Cancer. For many of you, the American Cancer Society and atheist can might be something. You're already supporting, either financially or with your time as a volunteer, and we thank you. For your support. Tonight, we wanted to bring together Pennsylvanians to discuss a bill being debated in Congress that would have a devastating impact on Medicaid, cancer patients and working families right here in Pennsylvania. You may have already seen or heard a bit about this on the news or social media. We are quite concerned about the proposed cuts to Medicaid. We know that one in three children and one in ten adults depend on Medicaid for cancer treatment and survival. The so called savings from these proposed cuts will be paid for on the backs of individuals who often have no other option for affordable health insurance. Including those with cancer, and the result will be devastating. Lives will be lost. And state economies. Economies will suffer greatly. While lawmakers are focused on improving government efficiency and reducing red tape, the proposed cuts to Medicaid would instead impose costly new layers of bureaucracy. And administrative hurdles, leaving states and taxpayers to foot the bill. tonight to better understand all of this we've

Just last week, 8,271 people got Nomorobo protection!

We can finally have dinner again as a family without being constantly interrupted by unwanted calls. The frequency of call is drastically reduced, and when the phone rings 9 of 10 it is a call we are happy to take. It has restored faith in the phone as a means of communication, rather than an annoyance.

Best thing since the invention of the telephone

We love it. Every time I hear a single ring and no more, I know I did not waste running to the phone. Thank you.

Nomorobo was GREAT during the lead up to the last election! All of the nuisance calls were blocked.Since I signed up, only about two robo calls have gotten through. Your service really works!I have recommended Nomorobo to all my family, and many of my friends.

It has saved us from answering countless phone calls from scammers and other nefarious companies.

Its great!! More than 80% of our phone calls are handled by Nomorobo quickly & efficiently. We have recommended it to everyone we know to end unwanted phone calls.

I've been signed up with Nomorobo since March of 2013. Without ANY doubt, Nomorobo is the BEST thing to happen to our phone system in a long, long time. It just baffled me for DECADES how unsolicited, scam phone calls were (and still are) allowed by the FCC. The Do Not Call Registry is a joke, nothing more than a political token gesture, in my opinion. I see absolutely ZERO enforcement of that registry. On top of that, the latest scam of caller ID spoofing is another atrocity that I simply cannot believed is possible. How can phone companies, and/or the FCC, allow spoofing? Anyway, I was always looking for a way to stop these annoying calls, and never came up with any working solution until Nomorobo came along. Thank you so VERY, VERY much. The ONLY improvement to Nomorobo that I'll mention, and don't get me wrong, I'll continue to take/love Nomorobo just the way it is since this improvement may not be possible, would be if my phone didn't ring at all from the robocalls. As a side note; I am such a strong supporter of this type of home privacy protection that I would like to VOLUNTEER to help Nomorobo in some way. If there is something I can do to support and/or help Nomorobo, please contact me (I did send an email to this effect earlier this year, but never received any response). KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, AND THANKS AGAIN.
