I'd like to invite Congressman Lloyd Doggett to give some opening remarks before we get to answering your questions. Congressman, the floor is yours. Well, thanks a lot. I think the danger to our democracy and our freedoms is very real. The harm that's already being caused so many people is very real also. Ultimately, I believe that working together, we can stop much of this carnage. But it's not going to be easy, and it's not going to be quick. And many good people will be seriously hurt along the way. I personally prefer to see you face to face. And I did that with just about 1,000 people here about two weeks ago. And then a week back, a similar sized group for our Save Texas Schools rally. And I've seen some of you at various other Austin events. I just got here from home a few hours ago. This telephone town hall is intended as just one more way for you to hear from me and me to hear from you. I'm going to give a very brief overview, probably no more than about 10 minutes, and then invite you to begin the questions and comments.
