We want to start tonight by bringing in Elizabeth Darnall with ACS can and Elizabeth, this is a complicated issue. It's one where there's a lot of noise out there with different narratives from different people. So let's start with you and can you kind of share a little bit about Congress's budget proposal and the impact it would actually have on Medicaid and affordable health insurance? Thanks, Doug. You're right, this is a very complicated process and policy changes that are happening. There's a lot that has just happened even in the last few weeks, even in the last few days. Just yesterday, the Senate Finance Committee released text of its changes to HR1 that cover tax Medicaid and marketplace policies. Unfortunately, the Senate chose to double down on the cuts to Medicaid and marketplace coverage and in some places even increase cuts to states. We're talking about the biggest cut to Medicaid ever and the disruption to the ACA marketplace that people in every state now rely on. It simply is not possible to cut almost 800 billion from Medicaid at the national level without drastically altering the services and benefits provided by West Virginia's Medicaid program. Again, it simply is not possible to insulate cancer patients and survivors from these changes. Just a quick reminder of how we got here. Last month, the House of Representatives passed HR1, the budget reconciliation bill, by a vote of 215 to 214. According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, or CBO. That bill would result in nearly 11 million people losing health insurance and almost 800 million in cuts to Medicaid. The bill would add new Medicaid work requirements for every state to implement starting next year, cut back retroactive coverage for Medicaid and CHIP, and make changes to ACA marketplace plans, all of which we know will impact cancer care. These cuts affect us all. As a result of this bill, we all will see our health care costs go up as fewer people have health insurance and thus come to emergency rooms sicker with more advanced cancer, as rural hospitals struggle and shutter their expensive oncology units, or as states have to make tough choices and cut back money for early screening programs. But let's take a look specifically at Medicaid and cancer care in West Virginia. There are more than 500,000 Medicaid enrollees in West Virginia. Among them, it is estimated that more than 12,920 have a history of cancer and likely need ongoing monitoring, treatment and screening. This number will continue to grow, with 1,570 new cancer diagnoses among Medicaid enrollees anticipated just this year. These individuals will need immediate access to life saving cancer treatments like chemotherapy and.

Just last week, 8,271 people got Nomorobo protection!

Excellent service and it's FREE. I was getting 5 robo calls per hour during peek periods in the morning and in the afternoon. Now, I rarely get a ribo call and, if I do, the call cuts off at the first ring. I love the peace of mind NOMOROBO has given me. I heartily recommend it.

Love Nomorobo! When the phone rings these days, I don't jump at the first ring like I used to. I wait to see if the call is zapped before letting it interrupt me or waste my time.

This service has been great. Stops the PIA's (Pain in the ASSES) from getting through. They get smarter and a few are finding how to get around it.

One of the great joys of my day is hearing the phone ring once and knowing that Nomorobo has sent the unwanted seller (aren't they ALWAYS selling something?) on its merry way. Three cheers for this great idea.
— Betty, Nov 29th, 10:59am

Great product. Thank you, but unfortunately more and more calls are getting through.
— Anthony L, Nov 29th, 11:04am
I love it! Nomorobo stops the annoying call after just one ring!
— Kevin, Nov 29th, 11:40am
The phone rings once and stops. Nomorobo is on the job. Thank you for saving my elderly disabled mother the agony of trying to get to the phone unnecessarily. It has been a blessing. Kudos.
