I toured a Head Start preschool in the District to hear from educators who had issues accessing the federal payment portal. I highlighted how working parents and kids would be impacted if the preschool was forced to close without enough funding. I also visited senior housing facilities and provided casework resources for Social Security, Medicare and veterans benefits. After public pressure and the threat of losing in federal court, the White House said it reverses blanket freeze on federal programs. However, local nonprofits are still having issues and reporting that they're not getting their federal grants that they have been expecting, which is a big problem. And Trump is still pushing funding cuts for programs that specifically help Latino, AAPI and Black communities. On February 2, Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant handed Elon Musk, an unelected billionaire, access to our federal payment system, including American's most sensitive financial information. They had access to your Social Security numbers, your bank account information, your routing numbers, and your home address. If you ever filed your tax returns and received a direct deposit, well, they have your information. That means that they can go in whenever they want if they deem, if they deem that you did something that they don't like, and that is a real threat. Although a federal judge just blocked Musk from accessing the treasury sensitive data, they've been in the system for a week. I went to conduct I went to the Treasury Department to conduct congressional oversight, but I was denied entry. So I rallied with my colleagues outside the treasury to condemn Trump and Treasury Secretary Bisson for giving mass unchecked access to your financial information. I'm on the Ways and Means Committee, which oversees the treasury, and I'm demanding answers into why Trump and Bessant gave Elon Musk and his cronies unprecedented access to one of the our nation's most sensitive databases and how trillions of.

VERY GOOD!I checked my phone logs and learned that many (most?) are from charitable organizations ( some are dubious)-. Easter Seals robo calls at least two days each week and yesterday showed SIX calls - repeatedly-!!
