- Transcript Hello? Hi, this is Alex with firefighter support council PAC. Switching to a pre recorded audio. Okay. Hi, thanks for holding for me. It's Matt Riley for the firefighter support council pack. We're having our fundraising drive because every year, hundreds of firefighters are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. And even today, many fire departments remain underfunded. Now, as a pack and not a charity, we hope to see lawmakers elected that will work to support our nation's firefighters so they can better protect our homes and communities. I'm sorry, you were saying? So can we count on you to return a small contribution for the drive? Oh, that's wonderful. Thank you so much. Our top contribution levels are 50, 35, or $30. Can we count on your support with one of these? So how much would you like to contribute? Oh, that's okay. Most people are doing less. The most popular level are the booster spots. They're 25 or $20, and they really help out. Can we count on your support with one of these? So how much would you like to contribute? Repeat that, please. I completely understand. And that's why we have one last level, so everyone can help out. It's called the friend sponsor. It's only $15, but every dollar.

Just last week, 8,255 people got Nomorobo protection!
Great, great, great.
— Rich, Nov 29th, 9:32amLove it! If you don't have it--get it!!
— Jane, Nov 29th, 9:35amFirst off, I just want to say Thank You! While not perfect, Nomorobo is still by far the best thing I have found to help deal with the endless BS calls from the wide assortment of scumbags and scammers who chose to torment us with their useless and unwanted calls at all hours of the day and night. Yes, some calls get through, until those numbers end up getting caught by Nomorobo, but this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind and lack of aggravation that is gained by the majority of calls being intercepted. As an individual with mobility issues, I can't express how much better it is with Nomorobo, to not have to jump up every time the phone rings, thinking it may be a call from family or friends, only to find out it was some d*ckhead from 1000 miles away, trying to con me into buying an extended automobile warranty or some other crap-tastic scam. I can now calmly wait to see if the call gets rejected after the first ring, before having to struggle to reach the phone, knowing that in most instances that call will be a legitimate call. The Nomorobo service has been extremely effective for us, and I tell others about it all the time. I hope that this service remains free of charge, as I feel that it is an added insult to have to pay for a service to keep from being harassed, scammed, and otherwise being victimized by the low life's of the world who chose the telephone as their weapon of choice to assault their victims. To be charged for the Nomorobo service, well, I liken that to having to pay for the police to show up at your house when a similar attempt at scamming you has been made in person. Please, continue to keep this service free for the benefit of all, I'm sure there is a way for you to monetize Nomorobo, without placing that burden on it's users. Again, thank you for the Nomorobo service, I can't express how much it has helped to keep the tele-scum at bay in our household!
— John, Nov 29th, 10:04amWorking perfectly! The very small number of calls I now receive often just ring once. Many fewer junk calls than ever before. Thank you!
— Ari, Nov 29th, 10:44amAaron foss is a genius. His Nomorobo technology continues to function above our expectations monitoring our home land line system, running interference against even the most persistent robo marketing calls! I cannot help but smirk when our phone simply emits the single ring, alerting us that yet another robo call has been blocked; hoorayyy for Mr. Foss. Our life is much less stressful knowing that Mr. Foss's electronic "secretary" is fielding unwanted incoming calls, especially those around dinner time. Thank you Aaron for all of your hard research and work to bring nomorobo to life!
— Ken D, Nov 29th, 12:17pmI found out about Nomorobo in an AARP newsletter and signed up. It doesn't eliminate every robo call, but many of those annoying calls ring once and disappear. I've already recommended this service to my friends.
— Barbara W, Nov 29th, 12:56pmAbsoulutely Great!!!! Keep up the good work!!Art
— Art, Nov 29th, 1:29pmTerrific idea and very good execution. Slight improvements may be desirable, like increasing the speed of detection of calls to block. This may prevent the telephone ringing once before the call is blocked. Anyhow I am grateful for this service.
