  • Transcript Hello. Is Ashley Belangi there? So this is Omar Smith calling on behalf of Republicans for Medicaid. I'm calling because there is some big decisions happening in Congress right now. They could affect the families, including yours. And mine. So Congress is moving forward with plants to cut billions of dollars from Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. They're forging ahead even though a majority of Republicans like us are opposed. Medicaid does so much more than people realize. It covers 80 million Americans, seniors, working parents kids with special needs, people with disabilities.
