Aloha and welcome to Congresswoman Jill Takuta's Telephone Town Hall. I'm Deidra from Rep. Taquita's office and I will be your moderator. I want to say mahalo for taking time out of your schedules to join us tonight. Congresswoman Fuzuda will be joining us in just a minute, but first I'd like to cover some housekeeping items. To ask the Congresswoman a question, press Star three on your phone to subscribe to Congresswoman Tahquita's email newsletter. Press star 6 for both options, you will be connected to someone who will take your question or your email information. If your question is selected, you will be connected to the Congresswoman and you'll be able to ask her your question live. During this event, our goal is to get to as many questions as possible, but if we run out of time, you can send it directly to us via email.house.gov or call our Hawaii office at 808, 746-620 and if you'd like to follow along online and just listen, you can also log on to the Congresswoman's Facebook page where we are streaming the audio live. Now, before Congresswoman Torpedo joins the call, we'd like to learn a little bit about all of you and where you're from. We're going to do a few polls throughout the call tonight, so here's the first one. We would love to know which island you live on. Press 1 for Hawaii Islands in the Hilo area, press 2 for Hawaii Islands in the Kona area, 3 for Kauai, 4 for Lanai, 5 for Maui, 6 for Molokai and 7 for Oahu. So just to repeat that question and your options again, we want to know which island do you live on. Press 1 for Hawaii island in the kilo area, press 2 for Hawaii island in the Kona area, 3 for Kauai, 4 for Lanai, 5 for Maui, 6 for Molokai and 7 for Oahu. Now, while we're waiting for folks to respond to the poll. I'd like to remind everyone to start thinking of questions that you'd like to ask Replicita again at any time during the call. Just last week, 8,277 people got Nomorobo protection!

It works well to bad it did not pick up election calls. There are also donation calls that slip through. Over all I would not ant to give it up.

I love NOMOROBO! I tell all my friends and family about it. I would like to see the option to block charities as well. I get calls several times a day from different cancer societies asking for donations.

I do do have a smart phone which I need to use Nomorobo with Comcast.net so I got call blocker which blocks 1500 numbers

I am more than likely to recommend Nomorobo to my friends - I have already done it. They like it as much as I do. I have to admit I was skeptical at first especially after the general failure of the Do Not Call list. Nomorobo works great. Since the product works so well I wonder if statistics are kept as to the origins of the calls. If so, can that information be shared with the FCC and other government agencies so maybe some of the offenders can be shut down.

We laugh every time the phone rings and the number on the CID is one we don't know and there isn't a second ring. Can't wait for the cell application come out.
— Carol G, Nov 29th, 9:57am
Incredible. We smile, knowingly, when the phone rings ONCE (and one time, only) and the readout displays "Unknown Caller" or 800-***-****. Keep the server room nice and cool, 'cause "revenge is a dish best served cold..." :-)

It's life changing. No more anger from unrequested calls that interrupt our lives for no reason but to line someone's pocket with our money. Thank you!

It is the best technological advance on phones EVER!!! I didn't get ONE political robocall in the recent elections. People who came to my house and saw it in action were blown away. I can't wait for the cellphone version!!!
