What my chances are with Medicaid here in ██████, knowing that. The feds are likely to cut it off at any moment. Right, so let's work backwards. We know that the president. And his cronies have decided to attack Medicaid and healthcare in general in this country, and we know that the results of that are already devastating people. And so the impact initially, just to explain to the broader group, is that it will force people to not have health insurance. It will force the state to start making decisions about what it covers and where. It will also force providers. To decide whether they are able to afford continue taking Medicaid patients. And so we believe that it will disrupt the medical system in this country just writ large. I believe that we should continue fighting. So there are a number of tools that you can use. To fight back. In particular, it's shifting public opinion. So. Where you can share stories on social media. We also have a note on our website where you can share your exact story about any experiences you may have had just this weekend. I've talked with a gentleman who is a medical provider. And his office. Is already estimating that. They are going to. Cut payments from Medicaid patients from one hundred and eighty one dollars to thirty one dollars. For their coverage for telehealth appointments, and he said with that, he's just not going to be able to be a provider in that space. So those are some of the consequences. We will continue to elevate the issues based on the feedback that we get from the district, and we can only do that when we get the information. So please tell your friends and family. If they are in similar situations, I can use the numbers to bolster an argument and put that out in the public space, and that has had an impact before. On changing their policies. The second thing. On helping ████████, I will say that there's only a sliver of the district of congressional district five. That is ████████. But I will tell you that we are all, every city in our state. We are all ██████. We are all. █████████. We are all poor. We are all bend. we are every city and as oregonians when one of us is attacked all of us is attacked and i have firmly believed that from the day i entered the legislature and now in congress i will say if there is an opportunity to show up
