I'm the Vice Chairman of Commerce, justice and Science, which oversees the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation and NASA Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, which oversees our Federal transportation infrastructure and the Legislative Branch Subcommittee. I'm also the Chair of Homeland Security Emergency Management and Technology Subcommittee which focuses on emergency preparedness, response, mitigation and recovery. On visits to the southern border, I saw firsthand what a wide open border looks like. Under the last administration under President █████, the southern border is closed. Drug dealers, sexual predators, human traffickers, and those who illegally invaded our country under the █████ administration are being returned to the country of their origin. We didn't need new legislation. We put America first. We needed a new President. And thankfully now people see through █████'s four years of smoke and mirrors. The Democrats so called Inflation Reduction act raised the █████████████ debt to more than $██ trillion. But under President █████ and a Republican majority, we are right. Sizing government and acting in a way that's accountable to the taxpayers. We've enacted historic entitlement reform that is estimated to save you, the taxpayers, over a trillion dollars. And that's not all. We cut 9 billion in way spending for the far left, corporations for public broadcasting and radical foreign aid initiatives that go against Alabama's values. I'm proud of the work we've accomplished in █████████████ and I want you to know I work for you.
