So. This is Senator ██████████. I'm currently conducting a live telephone town hall about my work in ████████████████ fighting for issues that matter most to Idaho, such as protecting our public lands. Strengthening veteran services and holding the line on federal spending to participate in the town hall. Please stay on the line and we will connect you again. This is Senator ████████ and welcome to my telephone town hall, which is now in progress. If you prefer to not receive this type of call in the future, please push the number two on your phone now. Should you have any other questions, please contact my ████████████████ office at █████████████. Thank you. You are joining a live conference already in progress. Please be aware that your local phone company may leave your line open for up to ██ seconds after you leave the conference. If you would like to ask the speaker a question, please press ████. 's public lands at the very heart of the Gem State and are what led me to study forestry at the University of Idaho. As the only trained forester in the █████████████ Senate. I'm making sure these lands are properly managed, accessible and healthy. A core priority. When a reckless provision to self public lands to private entities was included in the reconciliation bill, I did not hesitate. I led the successful charge to block that proposal because of protecting our public lands as the right thing to do for █████ and the entire West. Another key priority of mine is breaking down the barriers that deny Idaho veterans that are hard earned benefits and care. These brave men and women sacrifice and fought to protect our freedoms. It is not only our duty to support them, but our moral obligation. However, many veterans and military families face obstacles to accessing the benefits they have earned through their honorable service to our country. Under the █████ administration, bureaucrats brought an essential modernization project at the state veterans home in █████ to a stand sale. For no reason. Despite my repeated efforts, including introducing legislation to fix the problem, █████████'s VA was immovable. It was a clear and unfortunately all too common instance of federal regulation getting in the way of honoring ███████'s veterans. After President █████ was elected, I raised this issue with him directly and with his Veterans Administration secretary, ████████████. Both gave the project the green light after our talk. Within weeks, the Boise VA's modernization project was able to proceed, and after two years of needless delay, the project finally broke ground last month. These are just a few of the many things I'm working on in ██████████. And I'm sure you'll have many more questions for me relating to everything from nuclear energy to current events. I'm looking forward to your questions tonight, and I hope that you'll find this Telecom hall useful and informative. So with that. I'll have ███████ take the first question. Thank you, Senator. For anyone just joining us. Welcome to Senator ████'s Teletown Hall. If you'd like to ask a question, please press 0. You will be connected with a staff member who will write down your name and question and place you in the queue. When it is your turn, I will say your name and ask you to repeat your question for Senator ████. Our first question comes from ████, from ██████. Hello. i saw on the news and i
