  • Transcript Hi, this is Senator Ron Johnson. I'm calling to invite you to join me in my live telephone town hall meeting occurring right now. Please stay on the line and you will be connected momentarily. You can also visit my website@ronjohnson.senate.gov to subscribe to my newsletter, find office contact information or sign up to be included in a future telephone town hall. You can also contact my Milwaukee office at 414-276-7282. Or again, stay in the line and you will be connected shortly. Please hold while we connect you to your Access Live event. The Access Live event is currently in music hold and will start momentarily. Please note this call may be monitored, recorded or rebroadcast. Hello everybody, this is Senator Ron Johnson. I want to thank everybody for staying on the line to join and hopefully participate in my 114th telephone town hall. If you are listening on the phone and you want to ask a question, please press Star three At any time you'll be connected to one of my staff members and put in the in the queue to ask a question. If you're listening online, you can submit a question through the question box at the bottom of your screen. And we already have a couple of those, so that's good. But again, if you want to ask a question on the phone, just press Star three at any time. These telephone town halls have been very respectful. Don't want anybody be a little leery of talking to me, even if you disagree. We welcome people from all perspectives to have a respectful conversation. We, I think, oftentimes prove that we can disagree agreeably, and that's a real hallmark, I think, of our country. But just want to point out what marvelous technology this telephone town hall technology is. This is, as I said, 114th telephone town hall. In the first 113, we've called out to more than a million people. I've answered over 1500 questions and today we're calling out to about 80,000 Wisconsinites. I believe we're doing it all throughout the state. Again, I don't want that to intimidate you when you're on the phone with me. It's just like we're talking on the phone. And again, it's always been very respectful.

Just last week, 8,257 people got Nomorobo protection!

I love this feature but wish it was able to do away with even the 1 ring. There have been instances where a legitimate company was trying to call but we're blocked as a robo call. I've learned to give them my cell number.

Love it, and, I have recommended it to friends.

Great great

We love it but are now getting strange calls with a 2 digit area code so that they are essentially getting around the nomorobo blocking.

It's GREAT!

I have recommended this to numerous friends and family. It is unbelievable the number of calls blocked in just one day. Thank you for bringing some peace to our house.

This is great.

Great, but does ring once...then disconnects some % of time...?
