That families and children and others don't get pulled into. Immigration enforcement efforts. So there are just a few of the issues that we are addressing. Weekly here under this administration. And right now I'd like to ask a question, congressman, from one of our online participants. Sandy has a question about Medicaid. Sandy says, can it be saved? Andy, thanks for joining tonight and asking that question. This is the thing I think the most about right now. I mentioned at the beginning of this call that over 100,000 people in our community rely on Medicaid for life saving medication and health care. I mean, this is literally a life and death issue for so many of the people that I represent. And if Medicaid gets cut? It is not an exaggeration to say that people will die and people will suffer so. This keeps me awake at night. And I'm going to work day and night here in Washington to make sure that the budget proposals that will result in tens of thousands of my constituents potentially losing health care are stopped. We are in a minority right now. We don't have control over all the legislation, but I'm going to do everything possible. I'm going to talk, I'm going. To advocate. I'm going to organize, I'm going to mobilize. I'm. Going to be a fierce and loud voice for all of you to make sure that people understand what's at stake.
