Hello. This is Jim Butterball, pastor of the Fellowship Bible Church. This message is free. We're not soliciting funds, but we want to tell you the most wonderful story ever told. The Bible says God is love and we can be 100% sure that we will go to heaven when we die. The Bible tells us we are born with a sinful nature in a sin cursed world. The Bible says that if we offended only one point, we are guilty of all and we all come short of God's righteousness. The good news is that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. John 316 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God the Son left heaven to go to the cross. He lived a perfect sinless life, shed his blood, took the torment of hell to pay for our sins and satisfied the justice of God. He paid for the sins of the whole world once for all, that we might be given his righteousness as a free gift. And he said it is finished. On the cross he died, he was buried and rose again. The Bible says behold, now is the day of salvation, to be instantly born again as a new creature into God's family. Romans Ten says for with the heart man, believe it unto righteousness. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. You may pray as follows dear Lord God, I know that I am a sinner with the penalty of hell. I believe that Jesus shed his blood and took the hell that I deserve. He died, was buried and rose again to pay for my sins. Please forgive me for all of my sins and save me and make me be the person that you want me to be. Please help me to understand the Bible and to live for you. Thank you for dying on the cross for me and for the free gift of righteousness and eternal life in heaven. In Jesus name, amen.
