Last week, I introduced the Treat and Reduce Obesity act froa T-R-O-A legislation that addresses the growing obesity problem by expanding access to treatment options for eligible Medicare beneficiaries. As a doctor and former director of the Iowa Department of Public Health, I believe we must support and utilize available medical breakthroughs. Specifically, this legislation would allow medications that are FDA approved to treat obesity to be covered under Medicare Part D, and it expands covered services offered by healthcare providers related to addressing obesity. From my Director of Public Health days I always say, eat less, walk more, brush your teeth twice a day, get 8 hours of sleep, smile a lot, and that's one way to remain healthy. If you'd like to ask a question, please press star three at any time. Again, if you would like to ask a question, please press star three at any time. I also introduced the Child Tax Credit for Pregnant Moms Act that not only respects the unborn, but it also gives financial relief to many families in my district that are trying to make ends meet and respect the sanctity of life. This bill builds on the child Tax Credit provisions included in the Tax Cut and Jobs Act by supporting families and pregnant women with the many costs that come while carrying a baby, as well as planning for the care of a newborn baby. Last month. I introduced the no before. You Owe Federal Student Loan Act with fellow representatives. Randy Feinstra, Ashley Henson zach.
