And I'm running for mayor of Philadelphia. Please stay on the line and join our telephone town hall. I want to hear from you, so please stay on the line and you'll be able to ask me questions directly and hear directly from me what my vision is for our great city of Philadelphia. Paid for by Jeff Brown for mayor. 442-942-8110. You are joining a live conference already in progress. Yes. Please be aware that your local phone company may leave your line open for up to 32 seconds after you leave the conference. If you would like to ask the speaker a question, please press zero. One is we really diminished our career in technical education. And a lot of the young people that don't plan to go to college, 75% of the young people, we really don't have enough to offer them to get a good job without college, whether it's electrician or hardware repair or software programming or any one of the number of career and technical jobs don't need a college for. We need to add that curriculum back. We did have it at one time, but we lost it. And I think that would be an important step. We should measure our success not on test scores for this group of young people, but on their starting salary. And we should connect young people after career and technical education to the good jobs, make sure they're doing well. That's one thought. The second is our buildings are in horrible condition. Some of the buildings are like 100 years old. They have old boilers and asbestos and leaky roofs, and they're in deplorable condition. And someone needs to come in with a plan to replace those buildings that need to be replaced and to renovate those buildings that need to be renovated. And that will have to be a longer term plan. But we got to get started soon because the buildings sometimes the kids can't even go in them. They don't have air conditioning. There's lots of problems. And I do think when the next labor contract comes up for the district run schools, I think we have to address some of the poor treatment of the teachers. It seems like in this.
