Hello, this is your Congressman, ███████████████, inviting you to a live telephone town hall meeting. Please join me to ask any questions that you might have, including about the current Republican health care crisis and their one big, ugly bill. During the telephone town hall, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and raise any issues of concern. Simply stay on the line to automatically connect to my live telephone town hall meeting. If you would like to ask a question, please press 0 once you are in the conference. If you have any questions or need assistance with a federal agency, you can always call my office at ████████████. Thanks. You are joining a live conference already in progress. Please be aware that your local phone company may leave your line open for up to ██ seconds after you leave the conference. If you would like to ask the Speaker a question, please press 0. We need to get disability. We receive Medicaid and Medicare. My question to you is, is it going to affect this big, ugly bill? Is it going to affect our Medicaid because we do receive disability? That's my question. Yes. Well, thank you so much. And one of the more unfortunate parts of the one big ugly bill that ████████████ jammed down the throats of the American people, every single Democrat in the House and the Senate voted no, fought strongly against it, and now we are continuing to work to roll back some of these cuts, is that Republicans enacted the largest cut, almost a trillion dollars to Medicaid in American history. And it is going to impact the ability of people in our community and throughout the country to be able to access the care that they need for themselves and for their families. Now, I'm thankful for the leadership of Governor ████████████, Democrats in the state Senate and State assembly, who are working hard to try to step in to minimize the number of people who lose access to their Medicaid benefits. In terms of disability. We have been able to protect Social Security and Social Security disability. In terms of the Republican efforts to decimate those programs which we believe are earned benefits, you pay into those benefits throughout your entire life. These aren't giveaways and these aren't entitlement programs. You've worked for them, you've paid into them, you've earned them and you deserve them. So we're going to continue to fight to make sure that no one touches your Social Security or your disability assistance. But in terms of Medicaid, unfortunately, the one big ugly bill is going to have a big impact. So thank you so much. Again, press zero at any point in time. We've got several people who've got questions. We're going to try to get to as many as we can on any issue that you want. This is your congressman, ███████████████, coming to you live from the █████████████ capital. We're going to go next to Mr. █████████ from ████████. Yes, good afternoon, Congressman. This is █████████████████. I have a two family, two bedroom house and I hear about these private equity companies coming to buy up all the housing and then turn them into rental properties. I'm behind in my mortgage and I want to know if I can, if I can get some extension of time before they can come and try to grab my property as well and throw me on the streets. I have a business, I came to you before my cocoa business, and I'm just waiting for that to turn over and I'll be able to, like, have a remodification on my mortgage. I just.
