Hi, this is Senator ████████████████ at ████████████. Please stay on the line to talk to me live on a free telephone town hall about what Senate Republicans are working with President █████ on. We're trying to secure the border, lower prices and rein in reckless spending. Again, this is Senator ████████████████. Please stay on the line to listen in on this free call. Thank you. Please hold while we connect you to your Access Live event. This Access Live event is currently in progress. Please note that this call may be monitored, recorded or rebroadcast or a passport or veterans benefits. Or maybe you are coming to ████ and need help with trips, you can call the Johnson City office. We have a fabulous caseworker there, ███. She'll be able to help you with all of your needs with federal agencies and benefits. And that number in the Johnson city office is ████████████. If you're coming to ████ for a vacation or bringing a school to group up for a trip, call us at the ████ office, ████████████████████████. Of course, you can always go to our website, ████████████████████ all the information is there. We have summer internship programs for college students. We certainly have a a lot that we do with our students that are applying for military academies. And so all this information is on the website. Or again, you can call the Johnson city office at ████████████ or the ████ office, ████████████. Now I know the weather in ██████████████ is not that good today. It looks like you all are getting some sleet and maybe a little freezing rain to kind of top off this winter storm. I will say this. We are so grateful to the Tennessee National Guard and the Emergency Management Agency, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, all of our first responders, our local law enforcement, our nonprofits, and of course neighbors who have stepped in to help neighbors. And this is one of the worst winter storms we have seen in years. I live in ████████████████ and there are still thousands of homes and businesses that do not have any power. The local electric utility in ███████████████████████████ and some of the surrounding area is Nashville Electric Service. And they really failed to prepare for the storm and they had done a lot of focusing on DEI trainings. They did ███ of those last year and they cut back on services that help prevent outages and cut back on their tree trimming budget. And I recently sent a letter over to NES to try to get some answers on how they lacked the preparation and why they didn't seem to understand there was a storm coming when all of us watching the news knew we better get to Kroger or Publix and get some food.
