  • Transcript Hello this is Leslie here Stan and I'm calling to let you know about the community meeting to update 5th Ward residents on the progress of the buildout for the new grocery store and Jeffrey Plaza the meeting will be held Thursday March 14th at Oakey school 6940 south Merrill Ave from 6 pm to 7 pm workers have been in the building for nearly a month working on its transformation from vacant storefront to full service grocery store there are plenty of questions about this project from the name of the store to employment and the opening date I have invited the new owners and their team to attend a meeting to talk with 5th Ward residents about the grocery store and answer any questions you may have I hope to see you there thank you.
