Before Nomorobo we would get some 20-30 auto dialer calls a day. We had even gone so far to buy a phone that announces the caller's ID, so we wouldn't answer the 800 calls. But then the masked local calls started coming too. I seriously considered getting rid of our home phone. I am so happy with Nomorobo. It's a great program and certainly alleviates, to a degree, some of the pains of crank calls. I';m sure you are aware the fed " do not call "system seems to be broken because it does not handle these calls as it should. I loved "robo" while it worked but, a few months ago, we had no incoming calls. I contacted our phone co. (Optimum) and they discovered ALL our calls were being sent to "robo". They advised switching call forwarding to "off". They reset the modem and the problem was solved. After a few weeks, I reestablished "robo"--it worked for about a month when the same problem occurred. After Optimum again corrected the problem, I never switched back to "robo".
