Just last week, 8,274 people got Nomorobo protection!
Doesn't seem to do a thing. Still get robocalls.
— Allen S, Nov 29th, 9:43amIt's an ok service although it hasn't been as effective as advertised. It is only blocking 50% of the calls to my landline. I guess that's an improvement but not what I expected. Some of the numbers that get through are listed as "private" - that is, no caller id information is given. These calls should be blocked too. If there's no caller id info the call should be blocked.
— Saul J, Nov 29th, 10:01amWe LOVE Nomorobo. We've reported around 50 numbers ourselves and say thanks to Nomorobo every day when time-wasting robo/slamming/ con calls are intercepted after one ring. We've told everyone we know about the service. It really works. Thank you!
— Greg S, Nov 29th, 10:05amThank you! I had doubts about nomorobo - I was so wrong! I love it! You all should win some sort of peace prize!
— Martha, Nov 29th, 10:22amI've been signed up with Nomorobo since March of 2013. Without ANY doubt, Nomorobo is the BEST thing to happen to our phone system in a long, long time. It just baffled me for DECADES how unsolicited, scam phone calls were (and still are) allowed by the FCC. The Do Not Call Registry is a joke, nothing more than a political token gesture, in my opinion. I see absolutely ZERO enforcement of that registry. On top of that, the latest scam of caller ID spoofing is another atrocity that I simply cannot believed is possible. How can phone companies, and/or the FCC, allow spoofing? Anyway, I was always looking for a way to stop these annoying calls, and never came up with any working solution until Nomorobo came along. Thank you so VERY, VERY much. The ONLY improvement to Nomorobo that I'll mention, and don't get me wrong, I'll continue to take/love Nomorobo just the way it is since this improvement may not be possible, would be if my phone didn't ring at all from the robocalls. As a side note; I am such a strong supporter of this type of home privacy protection that I would like to VOLUNTEER to help Nomorobo in some way. If there is something I can do to support and/or help Nomorobo, please contact me (I did send an email to this effect earlier this year, but never received any response). KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, AND THANKS AGAIN.
— Steve B, Nov 29th, 10:29amI love it! I've adapted to ignoring the first ring. Only if it persists do I regard it as an incoming call and check caller ID. Thank you so much.
— Bob, Nov 29th, 10:31amI was one of the first Timewarner Cable voicemail customers to try out Nomorobo on my phone. It has been fantastic and have recommended it to all of my friends. Thanks Nomorobo for taking care of an irritating problem with robotic phone calls.
— Fred, Nov 29th, 11:25amI definitely stops 90% of robo calls BUT some still get through......but scammers have a way of doing that. I love what doesn't get through.
