Just last week, 8,275 people got Nomorobo protection!
It works! Thank you!!!!
— Patty, Nov 29th, 9:48amOverall I am very happy with your service. However, I want to point out that it is not 100% effective. Specifically, during the election season from about September through the election in early November, we noticed that robocalls for political surveys frequently got through your technology. Of course, now that the elections are over, we are no longer being bothered. But, is there some reason why those calls could not be stopped?
— Jon K, Nov 29th, 9:57amIt's an ok service although it hasn't been as effective as advertised. It is only blocking 50% of the calls to my landline. I guess that's an improvement but not what I expected. Some of the numbers that get through are listed as "private" - that is, no caller id information is given. These calls should be blocked too. If there's no caller id info the call should be blocked.
— Saul J, Nov 29th, 10:01amI think it has helped, but quite a few numbers (including Gallup) get through with a single ring, which is less annoying than talking to them, but very annoying, nonetheless because these callers tend to call every day. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I use Vonage SimulRing to call my home and cell at the same time, but I'm not sure. I've learned that reporting a problem has no effect (but, heck, you're offering a free service, so ...), which I why I didn't bother.Of course, the 2014 political campaign season was still unbearable, and I don't look forward to 2016, but I think your service is a great help, and I appreciate it.
— Carol S, Nov 29th, 10:05amWhat a blessing to hear only one ring! The best gift I can give anyone is to introduce them to Nomorobo.
— Ray R, Nov 29th, 10:14amI had been waiting for a long time for someone to step up and provide a solution to stopping all the annoying robo and scam calls I have been receiving. I even had to buy a new phone with a larger blocking capability. I don't understand why our carriers did not step up to eliminate this problem. Thanks for offering an alternative solution. It's been working great.
— Howard B, Nov 29th, 11:32amIt's such a relief when the phone only rings once!!Many thanks for this great public service.
— Linda G, Nov 29th, 11:35amIt is the "Best Thing since spilled milk"! Can't thank you enough.
